China’s efforts to promote ecological civilization transformation present abundant opportunities for this field. As a “culture bridge”, Xi can facilitate cooperation and foster cultural integration, and may unlock more possibilities to this field. Xi once organized the International Conference on Ecological Economics and Ecological Civilization in China, which was attended by over 300 people from around the world. She hopes to have the opportunity to organize the biennial conference of ISEE in China in 2027.
